[Fredslist] Acute rehab facility with medical care

Gothamtes- One of my closest friends has been in the hospital for almost 40 days due to Covid. Finally out of induced coma, off vent and sedation, trach collar was taken off yesterday. Was approved by swallow team yesterday to start soft foods. Still having some issues with blood pressure, bedsore, icu psychosis, blood infection, little use of arms and legs. But with all he’s been through, AFIB’d three times and almost died, that’s minor stuff. LOL. He’s a true 10 percenter and a true inspiration story. He’s dubbed “The Miracle Man” at Winthrop.  He’s on a fast track now for a rehab. He needs an acute facility with medical care for Covid patients only. They would like Mercy or Glen Cove, Mercy being their 1st choice. Any connections? His packet is going out in a couple of hours to these places. Thanks so much!!
