[Fredslist] Holiday Party Report

I am humbled and grateful to be among the Networkers of the Year! Congratulations to Robert, my colleague and “brother" from the South. And congratulations to the other award winners … I love being judged by the company I keep.

Admittedly (ask Scully!) I was totally and completely shocked and delighted. Being part of Gotham has become such an integral part of my life that I can't imagine not being involved. In Gotham I have found some of my closest and dearest friends and mentors. It's the networking home of the most amazing, kind and talented professionals - such depth of talent and experience, there’s nothing we cannot help each other with. 

It’s pretty crazy to be honored for doing something I feel privileged to do. That said, I’ll take it and brag on it and hope to live up to the standards set by others similarly honored over the years. 

I am so grateful, Fred, that after that first visit to BNI, you decided to be the center of attention and create your own networking group; and to you, Nancy, for going along with his plan. Thank you to everyone for your support and for all the value you bring into the world every day by living out our motto “it’s better to give than receive and what goes around comes around.” It’s as true today as it was when Nancy and Fred founded Gotham.
