In my other life as a trustee of an incorporated village on the North Shore of western Long Island I am involved in negotiating a new contract with our PBA.  We are looking to retain new counsel that can assist and guide the village in all aspects of the negotiation and possible interest arbitration.  The individual should be well versed in municipal law, civil service issues and most importantly has previously been involved with contracts involving police, fire or other civil service unions.
