[Fredslist] Space donation assistance requested

Dear Fellow Gothamites,

 

As you may know, I’m the Co-Director of One Earth Conservation, which is a nonprofit organization empowering people saving the planet (particularly those saving parrots in Latin America).

 

We would like to organize our first fundraising event in early December at which we will show some films related to our work with parrots and with indigenous people. The event will also have a holiday theme, due to the time of year.

 

We’re a small nonprofit with few resources, so we are seeking the donation of a facility, preferably in Manhattan or if elsewhere then close to public transportation, that has A/V capabilities. We’re also looking for the donation of refreshments for the event.
