The NY Real Estate Chapter is very proud to welcome new member Brian Haynes
of HAYNESNY.


HaynesNY and affiliates provide capital and development expertise for real
estate projects in the NYC area.

Nationally they provide financing for tax exempt bonds and tax credits.

They have provided  real estate consultant services for Kamran Hakim and
The Witkoff Group, and are presently working with The Trump Organization
regarding acquisition, financing and  development.



Brian Haynes was the founder and President of Haynes Associates.  There, he
arranged for over $3,000,000,000 in debt and equity financing.  He
organized an investor group and acquired White Horse Savings and Loan
Association, serving as Chairman & CEO.

Brian was a General Partner in over 3,000 multi-family units nationwide,
through BH Management Corporation and Brian Realty Corporation.



Before forming his own company, Brian was Vice President and Department
Head of the Real Estate Division of the National Westminster Bank USA.
During his tenure there, he also served in the capacity of Divisional
Credit Officer and Vice-Chairman of the Loan Committee.

Prior to NatWest’s acquisition of National Bank of North America, Brian was
in charge of working out portfolios of foreclosed and acquired properties
in New York, Florida and Puerto Rico.

He was responsible for establishing the New Real Estate Division of the
National Bank of North America, eventually servicing the Who’s Who of New
York real estate.



After graduating from CCNY, he worked for The United States Treasury’s
Comptroller of the Currency, analyzing the real estate portfolios of many
major banks. These banks included, among others, Citibank, Chase Manhattan
and National Bank of North America.  Brian has also completed several other
international assignments.



He has been honored as one of the founders of the Mortgage Bankers
Association Scholarship Fund, has been a member of The Real Estate Board of
New York for over 25 years and has lectured at New York University on real
estate financing and investment.  Brian has been featured in many articles
in publications such as *Vanity Fair*, *New York Magazine* and *Real Estate
Weekly.*



Brian has a B.A. in Financial Economics from The City University of New
York (CCNY).  He has also attended The Wharton School, Pace University and
New York University.  Prior to attending college, Brian served his country
in The United States Navy, during the Vietnam War.



Brian has proven to be a great networker.
He is willing and wanting to share his many strong business relationships
with the Gotham community.
