[Fredslist] Legal Help for a Client-Please Read

Dear Tribe,

I am not sure where to turn with this for a good client of mine.  Can you let me know if you know of a specific attorney that would handle this type of matter.  Please do not refer an attorney unless you know this is a matter they can handle.

My client was collecting LTD (Long Term Disability) from his employer as well worker's comp - they filled out all the required papers that were sent to them by both the Employer and LTD. They were told by Lincoln Financial that the benefits were for 36 months.

In September 2015, they received reduced amounts since the client was also collecting Worker's Comp.  Yesterday, they received a letter saying that they had received overpayments of benefits and they want them to pay back about $40k and called them for payment options.

They are looking for an attorney to look at this and guide us to best possible option.
