I echo Debbie's comments.  I rode the circuit from Gotham L.I., and it
was a very nice way to spend a hot midsummer mid-day, with excellent
networking, venue, view, and food.  

 

It's not easy to justify taking a large chunk of time from one's busy
schedule to commute into town for one event (usually I try to bunch city
meetings together), but yesterday I did just that, and it was justified.

Good morning Gotham,

Yesterday, I attended the joint meeting of the Downtown and the Brooklyn
Power Breakfast Groups.  The meeting was a great blend of members from
each group, circuit riders, fresh fish and applicants and temporary
members - 42 attendees in all, and each one someone you should meet! 

 

The food was great, the view breathtaking and the meeting truly
terrific, lots of feel good camaraderie and networking, networking,
networking.  Thank you to Linda Newman for coordinating a terrific joint
meeting - loved your idea of name tags as place holders for seats -
terrific and an easy way to meet and mingle!
