[Fredslist] Susan Zinder, my hero of the day

This story is the "stuff" Gotham is made of, one person at a time, and
really encapsulates what we all do for each other in Gotham.

 

I was mentioning at a breakfast meeting today that I was wrestling with some
proposal language; a big (!) corporate client asked for a cancellation
clause on a proposal I am anticipating they will sign for a nationwide
upcoming Linkedin training series.  

 

Susan immediately offered that we walk around the corner to her office
afterwards and help me articulate what I had been thinking. She got right to
work, worked out the clause and also emailed it to me while I was in her
office.  

 

I just sent it to the client. 

 

Susan's offering to help me was all about it is better to give than receive.


And she really didn't expect anything back. Of course she just earned a
credit towards an upcoming review of her Linkedin profile! What goes around
comes around.

 

Thanks, Susan, and you all should know this is yet another example of how
fortunate we are in Gotham to have each other!
