[Fredslist] St Patricks Day Parade spot needed

Hello! I want to take my daughter, Casey (Gotham member #1A as Fred would put it!), and her friend to the nyc St Patty day parade saturday. 

To avoid getting stuck layers back since as it is we have to take the 7am train just to get there before 11am, does anyone have any suggestions? Know of anyone who can help a fellow gothamite get as close  to this exciting experience? A good specific location so we can see the parade?   Thank you!!
