[Fredslist] Saturday eve and nothing to do?

If you have nothing to do Saturday eve, whether or not you like religion or practice any form of Judaism, you enjoy catching me debate the merit of  LATKES (Potato Pancakes)  against  HAMANTASHEN (triangular pastries filled with prune, poppy seeds, or other sweet substances) during a break in Purim (Feast of Esther) services hosted by my between buildings synagogue Temple Sholom, at Temple Torah, just north of the Long Island Expressway (Exit 32) at 54-47 Little Neck Parkway.  Dress is rather casual or costume (see calendar item below that was originally posted on the northeast Queens Jewish Community Council community calendar.)



Saturday March 19,2011- 13 Adar II 5771
Temple Sholom Purim Celebration 
8:00 p.m. at Temple Torah 54-27 Little Neck Parkway 
Join us for a festive Purim celebration with song, dance, and food. 
Dress up in your favorite costume. 
View an installment in the eternal debate between the latkes and the hamantashen.
