Dear Tribe
My son Phil has a commitment at Ernst & Young that he has asked me to share with all of you. I know there are great demands on all of us but if you can take a moment and participate it would be deeply appreciated.
Thanks
Phil Smallman

Dad,

Dear Friend,

I am inviting you to invest in the students of your community. This December, I will join teams of Ernst & Young employees at the Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon. Bowl-A-Thon revenue funds JA New York’s business-based programs, which are provided to New York area schools at no cost.

The JA experience leads to a more productive workforce and more educated consumers, both being essential elements of a long-term democratic society. Every year JA New volunteers inspire students through JA programs and workplace experiences, shadowing business executives and obtaining internships.

The Junior Achievement experience emphasizes:
· Appreciation for and understanding of free enterprise
· A solid base of economic knowledge
· Exposure to positive corporate and community role models
. Life skills of self-reliance, confidence and sense of accountability

Now more than ever, it is our responsibility to fuel the passion for democracy that has made America the leader of the free world. I am asking you to join me in supporting JA New York’s mission to inspire young people to be successful. Your commitment is more than a contribution; it is an investment in the education of New York City and Long Island students.

Thank you for your support!
