[Fredslist] Fake request to connect at a popular social networking site

The Linked In request below looks exactly like it's from someone at Linked
in doesn't it?

Beware this is fake!!!!!

Never respond to requests to click direct to a URL they provide that asks
for your password.

Instead take the extra step of signing into Linked In directly. Be aware
that this occurs not only with Linked In but most other social networking
sites.

It only takes your name and one other piece of information to steal your
identity, your account, and those that you know.

What alerted me? info at m2powerinc.com is an email I use for an interactive
book I wrote. What if it was my real email address? Take the time to find
out who the person is by going to their Linked In site direct through Linked
In.

What if I right click on the person's name and find they have a legitimate
email address? This one had an AOL email address yet it was a fraudulent
address. So don't trust any name that you do not recognize or asks for your
password without the appropriate username and password you supply instead of
them. It only takes a minute to protect your identity for a lifetime.
