More Information
The Global Change Foundation supports education in energy and the environment. Its mission is to raise funds for projects and scholarships for global change. There are fourteen separate projects under development. The Green Salon is the first of these.
Thomas Muraco, Guest Artist - Mr. Muraco is on the faculty of the Manhattan School of Music where he coaches, teaches and conducts operas. Richard Dyer of the Boston Globe said that he "is simply one of the finest collaborative artists before the public today. His contributions were model of complete support and specific understanding--they were songs without words." He has collaborated with major singers and instrumentalists. He invited two distinguished world-class artists, Mary Dunleavy, soprano, and Philip Cutlip, baritone, both with major international careers, to perform with him at The Green Salon.
Sheila Hollis, Speaker - Sheila Hollis, leading Washington attorney and chair of the office of Duane Morris. Ms. Hollis has 34 years legal experience, has received multiple awards, including recently being named one of the 50 Key Women in Energy worldwide. She is known as one of the best in the energy law field. She has chaired the American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy and Resources. She is an expert in climate change legislation.
Peter C. Fusaro - Founder and Chairman of Global Change Associates, author of 15 books on energy, environment and green finance and a sought-after keynote speaker, created the Green Salon with Carmen Cook to bring the arts and environment into closer, accessible harmony and dialogue. Peter founded Global Change Associates in 1991 to focus on the interplay and convergence of energy and environmental financial markets. Global Change Associates at Global-Change.com is the website with detailed green finance information.
Carmen Cook - VP Marketing, for Global Change Associates, graduated from Juilliard with a degree in Voice. She sang professionally for many years before gaining experience in business and marketing. She considers herself to be a cultural entrepreneur.
Klavierhaus, Sujatri and Gabor Reisinger. Klavierhaus is the professional home of extraordinary historic pianos and the two Hungarian born brothers Sujatri and Gabor Reisinger who skillfully restore them.
Your donation to The Global Change Foundation’s Green Salon provides an honorarium for the artist(s) and the performance space. Through the beauty of music, expert awareness from our speakers and conversation generated by our attendees, The Green Salon seeks to serve the environmentally aware community.
