[Fredslist] Rainforest Alliance Position

The Rainforest Alliance, a non-profit organization that helps promote
environmentally sustainable practices to preserve the rainforests, is
looking to hire an assistant general counsel who is fluent in Spanish
for a position mainly involving reviewing, drafting, and negotiating
contracts.  The position will be based in San Jose, Costa Rica or
Gautemala City, Guatemala; or possibly in New York or Mexico.  The
compensation is approximately $35,000 - $50,000.  A qualified candidate
must have the following: a Juris Doctorate degree (or its equivalent)
and admittance to bar in New York State or at least one Spanish-speaking
jurisdiction (preferably Costa Rica, Guatemala, Ecuador, Mexico, Bolivia
or Spain); minimum 5-7 years relevant experience; fluent in Spanish and
English; outstanding contract drafting, review and negotiation skills in
