       Dear Mr. Klein: Thank you for distributing my information to your
colleagues. I am a first-year law student at The George Washington
University Law School and a 2008 magna cum laude graduate of the George
Washington University. For the Summer of 2009, I am seeking an internship,
summer associate position, or any other post that will provide an
opportunity to gain meaningful experience in the legal field. Prior to
commencing my legal education, I gained experience in multiple enriching
environments. Most recently, I had the opportunity to work at a boutique
governmental affairs firm where I wrote memos on federal tax laws and
proposed federal legislation. Prior to serving in that position, my
experiences ranged from taking a year off before college to travel the
world as International President of the largest youth-led organization in
the world to operating a roller coaster at a theme park to tracking
proposed federal and state legislation and regulations in the healthcare
and financial services sectors. I believe my diversity of experiences
allows me to provide unique approaches toward problem-solving and instills
in me a reverence for the benefits of hard-work. My resume is enclosed for
