Dear Fred, 
I am writing with the hope you might be able to enlist some help from the Gotham network for my son Sanford Appell.  As you know, he has been employed for years with ESPN in research and related production aspects for its sports shows.   He is most competent and passionate about his work, and from what I can see enjoys a very good reputation in his field, and good relations with producers, anchor people, etc.  While he would like to remain with ESPN, his previous show (Quite Frankly) folded; and now, his present show (Cold Pizza) is being moved back to ESPN headquarters at Bristol, CT, where he worked for several years before his assignments in NYC.  Of course, he has been invited to move with the show to Bristol and needs to respond fairly quickly.  Sanford would prefer to remain in the NYC area (but would also be interested in Washington DC if something came up).  Basically he is looking for any appropriate position in the broad field of sports information, but with an obvious particular  interest in sports media, whether TV, radio, or print journalism.  
  
Whatever you or other Gotham networkers can do will, as always, be most appreciated.
