Congratulations Michael on being acknowledged for your visionary skills.
Michael, you wrote that you had much more to accomplish to be a considered a
visionary and that you aspire to live up to the honor. This is brilliant. I
want to quote this statement to my clients when we build vision. Too many
people are afraid to accept the energy that comes from a vision. They shift
their focus on what they have not yet achieved. Your response is a
beautiful example of using the energy generated by a vision as well as the
energy generated by acknowledging accomplishments achieved. Your response
proves you are a visionary. Thank you for these words.

Thanks so very much for your acknowledgement, Ed.

Quite frankly, I feel that I have a lot more to accomplish before I can
truly
be considered a visionary. But I will gratefully accept the award and aspire
to live up to the honor. I am just very sorry that neither of my parents,
who
came to the United States from Jamaica, are alive and able to attend the
awards ceremony.

It is with great pride that I say that I am Jamaican and accept this
recognition
from the Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In everything
I do, I am always hoping that I represent my parents, my family in Jamaica,
and
my family in the United States well.

Thanks again, Ed.

Have a most excellent weekend, Gotham.

Stay warm through the storm!
