Gotham –

As Fred mentioned last week on Fredslist, Gotham’s newest softball team,
the Batmen, are out to prove themselves in the fight for a long deserved
victory, and hoping to find it against the veteran (and *currently*
undefeated) Gotham Bombers.

Having been dogged by rain-outs and game cancellations, the Batmen have
played only 3 games together in this inaugural season.  Despite the
disadvantage, our scrappy young team is looking to make ourselves heard.
But the Bombers have been clear they don’t intend to give anything away
with ease, meaning this game will come down to skill and determination.

Come show your support for Gotham Softball by watching the Showdown at
Sunset on Wednesday July 12th at 7:00pm in the North Meadow (96th Street -
Field #10).  A map of the ball fields is attached.
