Barry Bonds is closing in on Hank Aaron's 755 career homerun record after passing the Babe's 714. He has not tested positive nor been indicted. However, a more simple indication of public opinion re alleged steroid use is creeping up on us. At the end of the year Mark McGuire, who refused to testify before congress re alleged steroid use while playing, will be eligible for Baseball's hallowed Hall of Fame.
