Hi Gotham,
Fred recently polled all of the Gotham Group Coordinators (GC) and asked
them what they believe are the qualities that make a good Group Coordinator.
Based upon the responses of GC Phyllis Harbinger, Lorraine Walla, Joe
Sciabica, Linda Newman and Becky Ford the qualities that make for a good GC
are: Being detail oriented, organized, attentive, great people skills,
ability to mediate between members and potential members who may present
conflicts, coordinate meeting space, dates and catering facilities, good
writer of emails, great overall communications skills, initiative,
responsiveness, responsibility, sense of the absurd, knowing all group
members personally, a good negotiator and someone who has their finger on
the pulse of their group and is looking to improve their group, which in
turn improves greater Gotham plus time available to utilize these qualities.
Your GC is the backbone of your Gotham group - if you have any questions
about Gotham, check with your GC - they are here to help.
Thanks GCs for all you do!
Debbie
