We currently have an opportunity available for Windows Systems
Administrator to work onsite for Westchester’s premiere hosting facility.

A candidate for a position as a Windows Systems Engineer must have the
following qualifications:

• 2+ years Windows 2003 Server administration experience
• 4+ years Windows 2000 Server administration experience
• Experience working in a wide area Windows environment
• Experience implementing/managing a Windows 2000 Active Directory
infrastructure
• Experience implementing Microsoft Exchange 2000 / 2003
• Proficient with a variety of server hardware and components
• Proficient in Windows Clustering Technologies
• Proficient in Windows Systems Troubleshooting
• Proficient in Windows Performance Optimization and Monitoring-
Proficient in Remote Systems Administration
• Knowledge of IP networks

A candidate should possess good interpersonal, communication,
negotiation, and writing skills. A candidate must be able to interact in
a professional, positive, client-focused manner with business customers
at all levels of an organization.

A candidate should have the ability to work independently and in
cross-functional teams under general direction. Must be willing to work
in a 24X7 environment and be part of an on-call rotation.

The following qualifications would be considered a plus:

• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
• Experience working under the terms of a Service Level Agreement-
Proficiency with Windows scripting products
• Experience with a Relational Database Product (e.g. Oracle or SQL Server)
• Experience with Web Server Products (e.g. Microsoft Internet
Information Server, or Oracle Web Server)
• Experience with Tivoli Storage Manager in a Windows Server environment
• Experience with VMWare GSX or ESX
• Experience with Microsoft Terminal Services, Citrix MetaFrame and thin
client environments
• Experience with NSI DoubleTake or XOsoft WANsync.
• Experience with Linux or Solaris
