[Fredslist] Need affordable tax counsel

An individual came to see me today who needs tax counsel to help him with respect to a dispute with the IRS over a number of tax years (some of which the IRS claims they did not receive a tax return for, but he claims to have filed and for which the statute of limitations could have run if he'd filed them on time). The total amount in dispute is about $20k. Given my firm's rate structure, it would not be economical for him to use us. For a number of reasons, he's a very sympathetic guy and a face to face meeting with the IRS could go a long way towards solving his problems.

Can anyone recommend an affordable tax attorney who could represent him in this matter?
