[Fredslist] Forwarding Fredslist - An Unsolicited Response from Ruth

       Last week I put a request for tickets to a Giants game out on Fredslist for a colleague of mine. My expectation was that perhaps a Gothamite had tickets that were not needed and we could have another Gotham 'win-win'. Thank you to  Gothamite Barry Newman who came through in the best of Gotham traditions. 

	However, I was a bit embarrassed when my colleague received a response from "Ruth" a concierge service/ticket broker. Perhaps the Gothamite who forwarded my email to Ruth thought he/she was doing me a favor...but, frankly,  I didn't need Fredslist to get tickets from a ticket broker.
 
       This particular situation was exacerbated by the fact that Ruth is a former Gothamite who, notwithstanding the fact that she chose not to renew her membership, apparently continues to enjoy the benefits of Gotham. 
 
        I would only ask that Gothamites be thoughtful when forwarding emails from Fredslist.
