Dear Fred, 

As per your request here is a brief description of my
background and skills. Also attached, please find a
copy of my resume, a PDF document. 

Currently I am working part-time in post production
for Zohe Films, Tribeca, formed in 1981 by
award-winning documentary producer/director Jennifer
Fox.

In Germany, I received a Masters degree in biology
from the University of Hamburg. For my marine biology
master-thesis I carried out my scientific research in
La Jolla, California. After my studies I worked in the
editorial division of a nature documentary TV
production company.

The last four years I have worked as a TV Project
Manager / Associate Producer for a communication and
event agency in Hamburg, Germany, producing
international TV productions mainly for global
pharmaceutical companies. Before moving to New York, I
was fortunate to be part of an advanced training
program in the editorial and production department of
Germany's most prestigious Nature documentary TV
channel, NDR Naturfilm.

Past responsibilities include: pre-production (e.g.
scheduling, client contact, production team
arrangements, VISA requirements), on-site supervision
(e.g. managing / organizing production crew, TV studio
scouting, client guidance), and post-production (e.g.
edit-supervision for CDROM, DVD, and
internet-publishing). Additionally, I managed the RFP
process, researching service providers and negotiating
pricing, and budget management. 

Overall, I consider myself highly organized,
detail-oriented, very reliable and a good problem
solver. I am a very quick learner, therefore I am
positive that I will be able to master any new duties.
