Greetings Gotham,

Fred and I were just chatting about the Brooklyn Cyclones Gotham day like
we did last summer. It was a great day and Fred (being a smarter man than
me) managed to get me to volunteer to help.

It was a fun day last year. Keyspan Park is cozy and comfortable. Tickets
are inexpensive ($10 or so). Nathan¹s is just a few steps away and the view
of the ocean is terrific. Before and after the game, you¹ve got Coney Island
right there.

But then the conversation took a slight turn.

What about the Staten Island Yankees? The ballpark for the Staten Island
Yankees is steps away from the new Staten Island Ferry terminal which is a
great free ride during the summer. Tickets are also inexpensive. The
ballpark has a view in all of baseball‹major league or minor league---gazing
out at NY Harbor, the Statue of Liberty and the Gotham, er, NYC skyline.
And after the game, you can return to Manhattan on the Staten Island Ferry
and get a close up view of downtown---and if, it¹s an evening game, the
lights of the East River bridges twinkling on the water.

So we put it to you Gotham. What¹s your preference? Brooklyn Cyclones or
Staten Island Yankees? Weekend game or weeknight game (start time is
usually 7PM)?

Please respond to phil at urbanbear.com and we¹ll let you know the results!

Regards,

Phil
