But two weeks ago, the Macy’s sign was taken down. A striking metaphor for the shifting landscape of retail.   It’s not that people have stopped shopping. They’ve just changed how they shop. With a couple of clicks on a computer or phone, your purchase will be delivered right to your door.    The fall of the iconic store sign at South Shore isn’t just about one location. It’s a reminder to businesses: adapt, innovate, or risk becoming a relic.
