President’s weekend honors our first and 16th Presidents. Why not honor them by extolling public and community service? Many we know toil in government gigs at all levels. Next time your see them or speak to them (or email or message them), just thank them. Many of them and many of you also perform some community service. Describe something better than doing giving back in that way. It makes a difference. It makes the community better. It makes life better. It makes the world...

The only recent event involved a firing of the manager. On the other hand Friday's blogger’s team still plays. I find I really miss watching my team and attending the games.

The evening before involved a rather large outing of sorts.
Some 265 or so of friends, colleagues, their family, friends, colleagues and clients. Attending either through Gotham City Networking, Inc.® or Kings FDR Tolerance Foundation of FDR Lodge 613, Knights of Pythias.
Citifield. Mets v. Yankees. Five home runs.
Fireworks during the game and after.
Some left happy because of one outcome (which disappointed others).
(If only this score above held but it was nice w...

As some know I enjoy maintaining my own website. Credit my son Jonathan who taught his dad enough code and who built some nifty sites (two still running) while in middle school. With a little help from my son who did not like the planned homepage banner and developed a nicer looking one (see pic), I redeveloped the website for a fraternal and charitable organization I am involved with.
The Knights of Pythias a “non-sectarian fraternity, founded in Washington, DC, by Justu...
