I shared a few blogs ago plans to see Al Kooper at BB Kings.   Concerts generally invigorate and Thursday night proved no exception.   Al went deep into his catalogue with solo (just Al and his keys) versions of songs from the very first (and best) Blood, Sweat & Tears LP, “A Child Is Father To The Man.” The LP title perhaps resonates more as I enjoyed songs from a performer clearly at home in his element.   Al always showed great taste in selecting tunes by others...
