[Fredslist] Upholsterer and Refinisher

Gotham - I am really close to finishing my home renovation, and am now thinking of the move and the work that needs to get done on furniture I am moving (don’t worry - I’m just moving my home upstairs by 5 floors and am staying in the Upper West Side).

Does anyone have a good furniture upholsterer and/or a refinisher?

I have a really big European weird shaped 20 year old sofa that needs new upholstering. I need someone reliable, who can give me a meaningful estimate and then get it done.  I have reached out to someone in the neighborhood and they just don’t get back to me.

Also - I have some nicks on my dining room chairs and table, as well as my dresser. I only need a couple of hours worth of work, but I need it in my apartment (I will provide what is needed to protect the apartment).  If you know someone for that please let me know too.
