[Fredslist] It’s Better to Give Than To Receive!

Last night, I had the incredible fortune of attending the dinner of the Theresa Foundation Annual Golf Outing along with Gothamites Michael J. Garibaldi, CPA/ABV/CFF/CGMA (Garibaldi Group), Corey Bearak, Esq. (Strategic Public Policy and author of “The Public Ought To Know”), his lovely wife Shelly, Marie Elena Puma, Esq. of the Russo Law Group, and Renee Richter of Centerpoint Funding.

Hosted by Vincent J Russo, Esq (Russo Law Group,) his wife Susan and their family, the outing was a resounding success. Theresa was a beautiful miracle, who loved music, movement and art.  The daughter of Vincent and Susan Russo, Theresa was born with a severe handicapping condition known as microcephaly.  The Theresa Foundation<https://theresafoundation.org/> was formed a year after her passing and is designed to help children<https://theresafoundation.org/support> like Theresa, supporting music, dance, art and recreation programs locally and throughout the country.  Through events such as the golf outing, over the years The Theresa Foundation has given over $2,851,596 in grants.

As everyone in Gotham knows, our mantra is “It’s better to give than to receive, but what goes around comes around.” Last night was no exception. Gothamite and Mortgage Broker Renee Richter<https://www.linkedin.com/in/reneerichter/> (Centerpoint Funding) won the Foundation’s 50-50 raffle, and completely embracing our mantra, she promptly donated it back so that more children could benefit from The Theresa Foundation’s mission.  Bravo Renee!  Well done. Congratulations Vincent on another successful outing.
