[Fredslist] Mad Monday - Canine Companions - Vendor and Sponsorship Opportunities

As some of you know, my wife and I are volunteer puppy raisers for Canine Companions, an organization that provides expertly trained service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities and facility dogs to professionals working in healthcare, criminal justice, and educational settings.  The dogs are provided free of charge to the recipient.

On Saturday September 13th, Canine Companions is hosting DogFest which takes place from 11am-3pm at Marjorie R. Post Community Park in Massapequa, Long Island.  This free event is dog and family friendly and includes activities such as service dog demonstrations, a dog costume parade, games, and vendor booths.  More than 1,000 people typically attend.

We are actively seeking vendors and sponsors for this event.   The only restriction is that the vendors may not sell food (either people or dog).  Participation in DogFest is an excellent way to share your services and/or products with the local community and captive audience of dog owners and lovers, and those that support service dogs for people with disabilities.
