Good afternoon, Gothamites.

Have you read Fred’s blog from this past Friday? https://www.gothamnetworking.com/blogs/entry/LA-Fires.

In the true spirit of Gotham, we come together to help others in need.  We have all watched with horror the events that unfolded in and around Los Angeles from the unspeakable wildfires that ravaged so many communities.   Countless families are out of their homes and face the daunting task of taking care of each other and rebuilding.  Now, as Gothamites, we all come together.

With gratitude to Bruce Swicker (Networker of the Year 2022) for his initiative and hard work, the Gotham City Networking Foundation<https://gothamfoundation.org/> will be taking donations for Direct Relief<https://www.directrelief.org/>, a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.  Direct Relief is a California based disaster relief and medical assistance organization which has responded to wildfires in California and throughout the US for decades and is currently actively responding to LA area wildfires.  Additional information is attached.

Continuing to acknowledge with appreciation the generosity of our Gotham family, David Abeshouse has agreed to cover the Foundation’s credit card costs and fees so that 100% of your donation will go straight to Direct Relief.

Please help us do what this family does best – support others who need our help.    You can donate by going to the Foundation website and clicking on Donate Now:
