Dear Gothamites,

As you know the years fly by and decisions have to be made, about so many
things, as we advance the
age ladder!

Encores can be there for all of you.  We discuss the questions about work
(how much or how little) before
deciding if the time is right for retirement.  We discuss the transitions
and the possibilities that gently stare us
in the face.  We support each other in our journeys.  Sharing ways to
maximize our lives together is a true pleasure.
Health, relaxation, wellness, food, travel, culture, finances, etc etc.
come up at our meetings.

The opportunity and the benefits of MENTORSHIP is a topic we have enjoyed
talking about in the past.

This Monday we will spend time on the benefits of Mentorship for the
Mentors and the Mentees.
Deborah Heiser, Ph.D. an expert in aging has written a book entitled The
Mentorship Edge.  The book
depicts the incredible possibilities that embracing mentorship affords
anyone who is willing to help
others and also find tremendous personal satisfaction.
