[Fredslist] And The Winners Are!

Last night, at our Holiday Party, the following 501 c 3s received grants from the Gotham Foundation as a result of our Season of Giving initiative:

ASPCA (Fred Morante proposer)

The Blood Center (Matt Plociak proposer)

Hearts of Gold (Kelly Welles proposer)

Helene Spizz Memorial Fund (Norm Spizz proposer) and

Brooklyn Public Library-Mill Basin Branch (Ray Walcott proposer)

Pending final calculations, I am pleased to announce that the amount of each of such grants will be $6200, which is a bit more than last year's grants.  

This is the best thing we do and we couldn't have achieved these results without your donations, the Matchers of your donations, Scott Bloom's reimbursement of all credit card fees (allowing the Gotham Foundation to be a unique 100% pass through), Gotham accountant Michael Garibaldi picking the winners "out of the hat" (under the scrutiny of Lisa Waterman) and the drive and inspiration of Hans Hanson!
