Mamini Goel, the beloved matriarch of the Goel Clan passed at on Thu Dec 5th at 1 pm EST. She was surrounded by her extended clan and the family priest when she passed.
 
The Funeral & cremation are at 3 PM Tuesday Dec 10th, 2024 at

Raj & Sharon Goel will be mourning at their house in Queens:

Richmond Hill, NY 11418 
 
Friends are welcome to visit Raj & Sharon on:
Wednesday Dec 11 from 1pm to 7 pm
Thursday Dec 12 from 1pm to 7 pm
Tuesday Dec 17 from 1 pm - 7 pm.

J to 121 Street, then walk 4 blocks
E/F to UNION TURNPIKE then a 10-minute uber
A to LEFFERTS BOULEVARD then a 10-minute uber
LIRR to JAMAICA station, then a 10-minute uber 
 
For those who would like to bring something, please refrain from bringing anything fancy. Fresh fruit, dried fruit, nuts and flowers or even plain bagels and plain cream cheese will be gratefully received.
 
For Hindus, death of the body is not the end.  Yes, the family will cry, grieve, yell, etc. but ultimately, the soul is immortal and the family’s responsibility during the mourning period is to encourage Raj’s mom’s soul to depart the earth.
