[Fredslist] Young man looking for international work/life experience

Gotham,
I have a friend who has a son who graduated from university last May and is interested in working overseas but does not know where to start.  He has a literature degree.  Any suggestions?  He is open to working for an NGO, nonprofit ,or similar organizations he is open to any opportunities. He is interested in seeing the world for a while.

Any and all suggestions are helpful.
