[Fredslist] Saturday’s Picnic

It was a beautiful Day at the Springfield Alley Pond Park. The BBQ was shelling out hot dogs, burgers (beef, veggie and turkey) as well as delicious sausage and peppers and corn on the cob. Did someone say Pretzels? But of course, Gotham Queens member and Philly Pretzel Factory Franchise Owner (located at 118-14 Queens Blvd, Queens, NY 11375), Jose Villa, donated a large box of fresh baked pretzels. Plus Reliable Ray Walcott (Capital One) donated a large tray of Mini hot dog pretzels and pretzel knots. There was plenty of food and drinks. It was nice to put a glove on for the first time in several years and field a few balls. I also enjoyed seeing many faces we rarely get to see in person. Corey produced a great show (again) and you couldn’t ask for better weather. Yes, my family and I made it in for a one day trip from rainy Florida and we had a blast. Don’t miss out on Gotham’s events. It’s another benefit of your membership with our great group.
