The Mary Louis Academy
Department of Athletics is now searching for strong candidates to immediately fill the part-time Head Coach positions for TMLA's JV Lacrosse Team and Varsity Softball Team.

Head Coach - JV Lacrosse

TMLA's Lacrosse program continues to grow with the introduction of a JV team during the 2020-2021 Spring Season. TMLA is currently home to the defending New York City Varsity Champions and the JV Head Coach will have a pivotal role in the continued success of TMLA’s Lacrosse program.

The Head Lacrosse Coach must be available from March 5th - May 20th.

Responsibilities will include:

  *
Model in the mission of The Mary Louis Academy and attend TMLA and League Coaches Meetings
  *
Lead pre-season, in-season and postseason practices; game preparation, on-field coaching of all phases of the game in a healthy and safe environment
  *
Demonstrate an interest in the social, emotional, and academic development, as well as the athletic well-fare of Student-Athletes
  *
Exhibit supportive and cooperative behaviors in pursuing goals along with the Varsity Coaches in order to maintain a cohesive lacrosse program.
  *
Work towards competitive results that demonstrate athletic excellence.

Head Coach - Varsity Softball

TMLA's Softball program is part of the BQCHSAA League and competes in Tier 1 with All-League players from every season. Our home field is located on 73rd Avenue and 210th Street. The Varsity Head Coach would play a pivotal role in continuing to build on what the JV program has established.

The Head Softball Coach must be available from March 5th - May 20th.

Responsibilities will include:

Model in the mission of The Mary Louis Academy and attend TMLA and League Coaches Meetings
  *
Lead pre-season, in-season and postseason practices; game preparation, on-field coaching of all phases of the game in a healthy and safe environment
