Over these nearly ten years in Gotham, I've gotten to know many who have become true friends.  There's such a warmth that transcends business, transcends networking, transcends the joy of making connections.  When you get to know folks here the way I have, you realize that we're a family, and I deeply appreciate all of you.

Gotham's mantra is very real - you get so much more than satisfaction in helping others, one at a time.  You get warmth from really understanding that it truly is better to give than to receive, and that what comes around goes around.

I'm so very grateful to Gotham for this year's Red Bandanna Award, and hope to honor and live up to the kindness bestowed.
