[Fredslist] Child Support - Passport problem

Gotham –

A good friend of mine lost his job during COVID and hasn’t been able to get a new one since. Because he has not been able to get a job – he has not been able to pay his child support.

The thing is that -  He also serves part time as one of the leaders of his religious movement, and he is expected to go on a trip to Israel for the movement on August 22.  The movement corporation, not my friend, will pay for the trip.

The problem is that his passport needs to be renewed and apparently they aren’t renewing his passport because he needs to catch up with his child support.

He acknowledges his child support obligations and intends to fulfill them.  He just can’t now.
