[Fredslist] Social worker needed to advise an immigrant about work in the US.

I am a volunteer English coach for a lovely young woman who has a degree and 4 years of experience as a social worker in her native Algeria. There are many jobs for social workers now. She has a work visa and can work here legally. We do not know the best way for her to become integrated into the social work field here. Is there someone in Gotham who can speak with her and learn a bit about her and advise her as to what school she should look into for the education she probably needs to prepare to apply for a license? Actually, any advice an American social worker can provide at this point would be enormously helpful. She is fluent in French, Arabic, Berber, and shortly will be in English. (She also has a bachelor's degree in translation.) She is employed during the day as a teacher in a school for small children and only has ½ hour for lunch. So, the conversation would have to be after 6:30 in the evening or on the weekend. I can provide her resume and set up an appointment for the conversation.
I look forward to hearing from someone in Gotham who can help, or lead us to someone who can.
Thanks in advance,
