[Fredslist] NYCHA Seeks Proposals to Provide Investigative and Adjustment Services

NYCHA just issued a Request for Proposals from investigation firms to provide NYCHA with investigative services to investigate claims for personal injury and for property damage against NYCHA, and to adjust certain Property Damage Claims and claims arising under Regulation 68 of the New York State Insurance Law.  NYCHA's goal is to establish a panel of firms capable of delivering high quality investigative and adjustment services in a cost-efficient manner. The Panel will work under the direction of the Tort Division of NYCHA's Law Department and will provide services for NYCHA In-House Counsel and outside defense counsel retained by NYCHA to represent it in the defense of Personal Injury Claims and Property Damage Claims.

A non-mandatory virtual Proposers' conference will be held on May 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., via Microsoft Teams. Proposers Conference Teams Meeting information: 646-838-1534, Conference ID: 823284171#. Although attendance is not mandatory at the Proposers' Conference, it is strongly recommended that all interested Proposers attend and RSVP to NYCHA's Coordinator at rfp.procurement at nycha.nyc.gov by no later than May 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM. NYCHA additionally recommends that Proposers submit, via e-mail, written questions to NYCHA's Coordinator at rfp.procurement at nycha.nyc.gov by no later than 2:00 p.m. on May 17, 2021. Questions submitted in writing must include the firm name and the name, title, address, telephone number and e-mail address of the individual to whom responses to the Proposer's questions should be given. Proposers will be permitted to ask additional questions at the Proposers' Conference. All questions and answers will be posted on NYCHA's online system iSupplier on May 21, 2021 by 2:00 P.M.

Proposals must be received by NYCHA no later than 2:00 p.m. on May 27,2021. Interested firms are invited to obtain a copy on NYCHA`s website. To conduct a search for the RFP number; vendors are instructed to open the link:

Once on that page, please make a selection from the first three links highlighted in red: New suppliers for those who have never registered with iSupplier, Current NYCHA suppliers and vendors for those who have supplied goods or services to NYCHA in the past but never requested a login ID for iSupplier, and Login for registered suppliers if you already have an iSupplier ID and password. Once you are logged into iSupplier, select "Sourcing Supplier," then "Sourcing" followed by "Sourcing Homepage" and then reference the applicable RFP/Solicitation number.

Proposer shall electronically upload a single .pdf containing its Proposal, which may not exceed 4G, into iSupplier. Instructions for registering for iSupplier can be found at https://www1.nyc.gov/site/nycha/business/isupplier-vendor-registration.page. After Proposer registers for iSupplier, it typically takes 24 to 72 hours for Proposer's iSupplier profile to be approved. It is the Proposer's sole responsibility to leave ample time to complete iSupplier registration and submit its Proposal through iSupplier before the Proposal Submission Deadline. NYCHA is not responsible for delays caused by technical difficulty or caused by any other occurrence. NYCHA will not accept Proposals via e-mail or facsimile. The submission of attachments containing embedded documents or proprietary file extensions is prohibited.

Further, NYCHA shall have the right to request any documents or instruments including, but not limited to, corporate resolutions, incumbency certificates, or other forms of verification for purposes of confirming that the signatory thereon is duly authorized to execute and deliver such Response on behalf of the Respondent. Electronic Responses must include all required components and be uploaded via iSupplier by no later than 2:00 pm on the RFP Submission Deadline date. Note: In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, we are accepting only electronic bids submitted online via iSupplier. Paper bids will not be accepted or considered.
