[Fredslist] Timing is Everything ...

Yes, timing is everything … in life and in Gotham.

Gotham Business Seminars have been have been a wonderful addition to the Gotham Calendar. Jayne Latz (Corporate Speech Solutions) was the speaker last week - so much helpful information conveyed in 90 minutes! Thank you Jayne.

We all speak to other humans and can always benefit from learning to be more effective when doing so on Zoom and in person. It was time well spent. 

At the Friday Happy Hour, Quinn, the delightful granddaughter of Norman Spizz (SPN Music and Entertainment) made a cameo appearance. There are some who find her Grandfather to be a funny guy and some are not quite so sure … no time to get in the middle of THAT! Quinn is truly hilarious! It’s one thing to be able to tell a joke, it’s another to tell it effectively - Quinn’s timing is amazing. 

Speaking of delivering a punchline effectively, on May 27th at 6pm there will be a Gotham Special Event featuring Alan Zweibel, one of the original writers for Saturday Night Live, who will talk about his book Laugh Lines. Use your time wisely and join us to meet, greet and hear from the guy who has the inside scoop on some of the funniest humans ever.

Plenty more going on including the Battle of the Bands … time is on your side, yes it is! The deadline for applications has been extended. So reach out to any bands you know so they can get their applications in on time. And there is no time like the present to check the calendar and plan to ride the circuit to the groups meeting this week.
