During the June 18th edition of the Gotham Happy Hour, someone mentioned Pablo Neruda's houses in Chile. There are three of them and they are museums, open to the public. They are filled with the artifacts he surrounded himself with, many collected from his diplomatic residencies and travels around the world. My husband who is from Argentina, had an advertising agency in Santiago, Chile for many years, and was a big Neruda fan. So we visited the houses in Valparaiso, Santiago, and Isla Negra. Neruda was a Nobel Prize winner for Literature, a diplomat, poet, and politician.
