Our host Dan Schwartz (Carr Xerox) sure knows how to throw a happy hour – it was fast paced and very much like watching the Keystone Cops on double fast-forward. 

Cory Bearak (Government and Public Affairs Counsel) always supplies a photographic record of Gotham Zoom events which I often forget to post = not this time! Corey, a magician when it comes to helping his clients navigate the mysteries of government, also magically made it appear as though this reporter was drinking alone. Well as  alone as one can be on a Zoom.

The cacophony of conversation covered loosies, Mallomars, babies – current and future, smoking and more. There was a "food memory" fight which makes less of a mess than an actual food fight. He said … she said …  and Norman Spizz won … for once. 

Our soon-to-be newest member, Paul Donas, threw down the “whaddya call a …” joke gauntlet that was immediately picked up by David Abeshouse(Law Offices of David Abeshouse) who added a few Friday funnies as Norman Spizz (SPN Music and Entertainment) was seen copying down the punch lines for later use.

Speaking of trips down memory lane, who’s been to South of the Border?” It’s predicted that Nancy Schess (Klein Zelman Rothermel Jacobs and Schess) will be going to Savannah, GA in November 2021. Does that mean the end of CoronaTimes? Gotham road trip, perhaps? Maybe a stop at SOTB  for a night under the big Sombrero? Just a thought.

There was an APB put out for Rita Sue Siegal whose tardiness caused alarm. Until she appeared, Paula Oleska (Natural Intelligence Systems) supplied the laugh track.

Thanks, Jane Beddall (Dovetail Resolutions) for advice on the best way to store important documents – yes, we also hit on some serious matters like where to keep Wills, Advanced Directives, etc. We also heard about upcoming events in Gotham like Odey Raviv’s (Odey Raviv, PhD) new Gotham group of senior business mavens and a Murder Mystery Night put together by Norman Spizz coming soon.
