[Fredslist] Sincere Condolences on the Passing of George Akst

It is with a heavy heart that we share the loss of NY Legal's George Akst who passed away Tuesday night. George was a wonderful person, and loved being a member of NY Legal.  He really enjoyed the collegiality with members of the group, and his daughter Alisa will be following in his footsteps, continuing on in the firm he founded as well as his legacy with the Group. The funeral and shiva arrangements can be found below should anyone wish to attend (all virtual, thanks to pandemic):

We are devastated to share the news of the death of our Husband/Father/Grandfather, George Akst. The funeral will be held on Friday, January 8th at 10am. Unfortunately, due to Covid, the funeral will be limited to our immediate family. Here is the zoom information for the funeral:
