[Fredslist] Gmail problem

hello Gotham:

I had to switch to gmail a year ago after my msn account was hacked. I
don't like many things about the gmail  system and  noticed recently that a
pdf sent at least twice to me via gmail disappeared into thin air and I
could not retrieve it.

Has anyone had this problem and what should I do about it?
