Some of the types of people who would be a good match are:
Engineers, Architects, Technology that is or can be used in construction or by contractors. Accountants who deal with contractors, Contractors, Anyone involved in reducing energy in buildings in one way or another, those involved in renewable energy, Software developers who have products that solve construction related issues, Consultants to contractors or the Construction industry.  In addition, businesses that focus on specific building, Construction, Real Estate "problems" such as someone who deals with noise or odor reduction in buildings.  This is not a complete list by far.  However, I hope it gives you some ideas I hope.


Some say things are a bit slower in the Construction industry yet we see so much Construction going on.  Plans are being made and adjusted at this very moment. Questions and problems arise.  Subs I worked with are out of business, my insurance company dropped me, can't find workers, lost employees, DOB is torturing me, want to find smaller jobs, want to find larger ones, need a better contract for this job than I had on the last one, need a less costly way to source materials, etc  There is a lot of business out there and who you know just may make the difference.

I'm taking this opportunity to ask our fellow Gothamites if you know someone in or related to Construction to please invite them to our next meeting Wednesday February 17 12:30 on ZOOM.

As this is on Zoom and no travel is required, the experience is more accessible to those who would like to share their experiences, learn from one another, and network with others who can help with new opportunities and introductions.

We are anxious to meet new people, make new relationships and generally make our meetings more meaningful.

So if you know someone, please forward this email or invite them to this meeting.  I believe I quote Corey by saying please "share widely or feely".  I am not sure which:)
