A Virtual success! We had 30 members, guests and circuit riders on two screens! Ray Walcott (Business Banker @ Capitol One Bank)ran the second meeting of Gotham Virtual and WOW! He did an amazing job keeping things moving with such aplomb.

There were announcements of upcoming events via Norman Spizz (SPN Music and Entertainment) our events chair, who talked about the Battle of the Bands, Bingo and more, like the upcoming presentation by Corey Bearak (Government and Public Affairs and Counsel) 2/11 at noon.  

Yes, we schmoozed -it’s Gotham! 

There were 2 breakout sessions where we discussed what people would like to see us do in this group. Input from members, guests and circuit riders is going to make Virtual Gotham a valuable resource for you.

After the breakouts, members, guests and circuit riders had a chance to share a little about themselves and how we can help them; what’s more, they shared what they bring to the table - what a wealth of resources! 

Gotham Virtual is shaping up to be an innovative networking experience in the spirit of Gotham. We meet again on March 8th at noon. Who do you know that would be a good fit for Gotham who is not in the tri-state area? Who do you know who has a business unencumbered by territory? Who do you know who you want to have in Gotham who has not been able to find a group to join. We have open seats now, but they are not going to remain that way.

At some point we will be back to in-person meetings. Virtual Gotham will exist as an online place for a circuit ride that doesn’t require travel time. It will also be a place for people outside of the tri-state area who want to do business within Gotham. Gotham without borders is clearly an idea whose time has come.
