Thank you to Odey Raviv and Mindy Stern for hosting another excellent
meeting of Gotham Encores.  The theme for yesterday's meeting was handling
stress-a topic of universal interest  particularly during the past year. The
format of the meeting began with members sharing what caused stress in their
lives and what methods of relieving stress had been successful. 

 

After a stimulating discussion, and in keeping with the theme of addressing
stress, the meeting turned to our spotlight presenter, Patty Bayer Troup.
Patty is a practitioner of Jin Shin Jyutsu, an ancient Japanese healing
practice that helps reduce stress as well as addressing other health and
wellness issues.  Patty shared with the group a self help Jin Shin Jyutsu
technique that can be used in our daily lives. Patty's business is Gentle
